My background includes 10 years of work experience in graphic design, research, and product design. Last year while working on my MFA I branded environments for clients the NHL, and NFL. My responsibilities include re-branding of Stadiums for the Winter Classic series and Stadium Series Hockey games. Our team was responsible for re-branding infield, outfield walls, field design, retail, hospitality and more. I worked on developing concepts, creating CD’s for production, translating CAD to illustrator, and developing production level art.
I graduated from The Art Institute of Boston at Lesley (”Lesley”) in 2007, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design, and minors in Illustration and Animation. While studying at Lesley, I interned at Boston Neighborhood Community Television (“BNN”). After graduation I accepted a full time position at BNN as a Graphic Specialist, where my primary responsibilities included managing the marketing department, providing multi-media design services, and re-branding BNN. I played a significant role in BNN’s efforts to raise 2.4 million dollars for its Capital Campaign Fund, which allowed BNN to purchase and move into its permanent home, a historical transit power station in Boston. As part of my re-branding strategy, I developed BNN’s first motion graphics, enacted programming changes and updated the station’s look, which significantly impacted BNN’s ability to buy new studio equipment and develop creative programming that increased viewer ship and potential BNN members.
